The Robin Hood of Corporate Training

A lot of people on my team all want to learn Microsoft Project. Unfortunately, most of my team are subcontractors, so my company won't actually pay for training for them (contractual nonsense). But the company has already paid for several intro lessons for its actual employees.

So I loaded them on my computer, and presented to the Zoom team meeting, so everyone can learn in secret! And we took the test as a team, so they get the lessons they wanted, I get the credit for advancing my skillset, and the company dosen't have to pay for all of them! Everybody wins!
You want to step up to Jira.

@jjoe01 Would love to, but that would cost the company money, which they don't want to spend right now!

@jjoe01 Never heard of Jira: early retirement took me out of the game 5 years ago - will Google.

What's Microsoft Project? I've heard of Mircosoft teams, but not Mircosoft project.

Also, it can't be a secret if we all know about it 🤪 but it's nice to feel like Robinhood. :)

@Viper It's basically a project management software, so you can track schedules, budgets, resource allocations, etc. I have one person dedicated to just keeping a master schedule of all the projects we have, but she never got training on it, and then everyone else got interested in learning something new, so that's how it happened!

@FaeLuna getting everyone on the same page is sure helpful

Microsoft Project is an entry-level project planning tool: It enables you to perform basic management tasks such activity progress: produce Gannt charts, basic cost to complete estimates, stuff like that. It falls down on it's ability to cross reference into other projects and produce accurate level 0 Programme estimates especially for cross-project/programme management. Then you need to step up to a beast like Primavera.
Alright, wear this 🥇.

@FaeLuna So what do you think of Alexander Dreymon & Would You Do Him
FaeLuna · 31-35, F
@JohnOinger I somehow have never seen anything he's been in. He looks eerily similar to someone I hang out with though, so I feel like that would be a setback
