What do you recommend for work?

I know practically everyone is hiring right now but in my experience and from what I'm told by most everyone is that employers still treat employees horribly. I know beggars can't be choosers but here I am asking anyway. I want to avoid retail, food service and warehouse work, too many bad experiences and too many on the job injuries. Yah I have a job and I know the saying its easier to find a new job when you have one which is why I haven't quit yet but I'm at my wits end with this place.

Would you guys happen to know some alternative work places I can keep an eye out for? The goal is to find a less stressful job to make ends meet while on my own my time I can make strides pursuing a career in software development

you answered your own question, your current job should not deviate from tech

@SW-User Thats a good point. Thank you. Maybe start from the bottom in some sort of tech related work, even if its just retail and work up. Thank you for that insight
