Getting antsy

So I've only been with my company for a yr and 7 months. I like the company, we get great benefits, and the people I work with and for are awesome. But I don't feel fulfilled. I don't feel like I'm making much of a difference in society or living up to my potential. I have been holding on bc we have been working from home since March of last year and are scheduled to go back to the office in September. I am hoping that will help, just being around my coworkers and the office atmosphere.

I have my P&C insurance license and am currently in sales for a niche department at my company. Idk if that helps or makes it worse. We were a small company before being bought out and the way we do things are a bit different. Idk if I should start looking into other divisions within the company as a whole or just into a different department within our "niche". Just needing to explore some options.

Anyone else working from home and feel that it has had a negative impact?

I experienced some personal issues last year while our office had us working from home. At first it was a wonderful idea, but after a while, it became more of an isolation "punishment". Although some of my co-workers can irritate me, I missed that interpersonal contact. Thankfully I am back in the office again.

It has been tough for sure to work from home .. but it has its benefits too. No commute for example. Can sleep in longer ;)

I think if it's not fulfilling even after working from office, you should rethink. Till then go on .. just my 2 cents!
