I am supposed to train a new employee at work night. My dilemma...

I asked for last Friday and Saturday off in order to move, but the time was not approved. I still have tons of work to do, and was planning on calling off tonight until I found out I needed to train. So...should I simply call off anyway and not worry about it, or should I be a good girl and go to work tonight?

What kind of work is it?

If it’s something necessary and important, I’d be a good girl. (Nursing, other medical occupations.)

If it’s doing TPS reports and doing tracking systems - blow it off. You’re freaking moving. Unless you move often, they need to help you out here.

@SmartKat That last part had me laughing! I work in juvenile corrections. I am going to be a good girl and go in tonight. However, tomorrow night I am calling off!
