We seem to be governed more and more by pen pushers who justify their existance by creating paperwork for others to do. Do you agree?

Or if they send you paperwork to fill out when they already have the information on file. I get food stamps to supplement my groceries. For years, I have been sent a short one-page form where the interview can be done over the phone by pressing the appropriate number on the keypad. A week ago, I got a three-page form and a notice saying an interview was required unless I was disabled or unable to come in.

I am on a walker! The neighborhood is not safe (much shooting) and none of the information has changed. But there are more questions, more detailed and more numerous. I didn't need all this, but I sent it in and wondered why they wanted it.
