Should I accept this job?
I recently graduated Architecture. I want to work in videogames but I don't have the skills for that yet, and I need to earn so I'm turning to applying for architecture jobs.
I was offered one, but it's at a company that manages projects. I would be the bridge between the client and the constructors basically, oversee the construction of the project beside doing the project too.
But I have no practical experience in architecture or construction, so it's scares me to be thrown out there like this. I'm afraid over being out of my depth and messing up.
And this is paid by commission. So I don't know how much I would actually earn a the end of the month or year, nor how soon I would earn since I don't know when I would get my first job...
I also wouldn't get fixed hours, so I'm afraid of ending up working crazy hours.
I do have the option of working with them and working at an architects office at the same time. My interviewer told me most people there do that.
But I'm very unsure if I should accept this or not.
I'm also unsure if it's ok to email my interviewer asking more questions about this. I was so nervous that I didn't manage to ask more at the time...
