Do you think it's petty to CC the manager when corresponding via email with co-workers?

Sometimes co-workers do not give the info that they need to in a timely manner.
We are supposed to work as a team. You have puzzle pieces that I need, but you are not giving them to me, like you are SUPPOSED TO.

Do you think it's petty to continuously include the manager in email correspondence with co-workers, in order to cover my own ass and show that "hey, I reached out to them on last week for this info"...

Bring it up with the manager. Bring up the fact that you see the employee do it and then ask if you should be doing it more.

I bet the manager will tell you its annoying.

@SW-User I bet it's annoying as well but as I said to another poster, the manager told me to CC her since she asked me today if I had received this exact info
