Working from home

Because of the pandemic I've had to work from home. I wasn't sure how that would work out. It has worked out really well and now I really do not want to return to the office. I feel far more productive and it gives me so much more freedom. I'm working outside of my core hours. One thing I've been very unmotivated this week so far so havent been very productive. Either way I've found my mental health in a better position since working from home. If only I could reduce the alcohol intake I may actually get somewhere.

What have been your experiences working from home?

We're spending a lot of time online trying to learn new technology and the like. It's tough staying motivated after 3 months. Slowly going in a few hours each week is better. It'll pick up a lot soon.

@MrBill36 due to parts of our business doing really well throughout all of this I've been busier than ive ever been.

@SW-User that's good. I work at a University with online and distance education. Needless to say our jobs are undergoing a major transformation right now. It's very challenging

@MrBill36 oh I can imagine must be a stressful time to go along with everything else that's going on.

@SW-User it is. If anything it's accelerated some things we've been using like Zoom. It's crazy right now

@MrBill36 I think a lot of businesses and organisations will change long term due to all of this. I do fear in my own business there will be lay offs.
