How do you break into the communications field without connections?

For years, I've been looking for work in communications, and I can't find anything. I recently had a falling out with someone who had connections in this field that I want to work in. I don't know what to do?

@Razoreye001 See. Now in England that's four different career fields right there !
And of those...well. they've probably ALL taken a massive hit in terms of the numbers of companies still in business that would utilise them.

Perhaps you need to figure out what your ideal post would be and then see if you can 'plot a course' (careerwise speaking) as to how you get there.
