Do you always get the short end of the stick?

I came to work at 2pm. A manager (not my usual) asked me if I could leave and come back to work overnight. THe answer was no

I told her: y'all always give me the short end of the stick. Her: " I knowww' 🙄

Hours later she texts me to work the next day until midnight
NO
I'm already working alternate shifts because of this virus

Why am I even at work of I'm "non essential personel" 💁

Its like "if you give an inch they'll take a mile", most managers are like that.
