I had my share of monster bosses at the first company. They were racist, biased and totally unprofessional.
First one, I moved to other department because I didn't like the work and of course, the co workers were not helpful.
Second and last mean boss was an insensitive, loud and unprofessional. She shout at people and never patient to listen to her subordinate.
Her two assistants were as vile as her. The male assistant sleeps with a pretty co-worker and give her good appraisal while the female assistant loves to make people work day and night without letting them go home. Those three take up a job without analysing much and tells us to complete it within a day which most of the time impossible. They never hire testers or buy a server to cut down expenses. They bully us into working 24/7 without billable hours and in the end they take away the profit leaving us with nothing.
I remember my last week at the office, I was about to leave for an important examination tomorrow in a city 8 hours away and they called me to complete another project. I told them I can't because I will miss the bus and I will do it once I get home during weekends. But they started shouting, calling me unprofessional and threathening me that they cut off my appraisal and they'll report me to the CEO.
But I couldn't care less and I left the office without a word. Next day I received a lot of mails from the dragon lady and her drama queen assistant but I ignored it. Then I got a call that I got the lowest appraisal in the office. Instead of accepting the appraisal, I sent them my resignation letter and that was the end of tyranny of the dragon lady. I got my freedom from the dreadful company and the awful city
