What's it like to be a Nurse in the USA?

I would absolutely love to be a nurse in the USA, but I am British. So that means 40k per year tuition. How do people even afford that!

Here some go to fast track to become a CNA ,,
The state will help with that
Then you get in with a good firm that will pay for you to go for RN
but you sign a contract you have to work only for them for so many years
2 of my daughters are nurses ,thats what they did so I am not just talking crap .I seen them do it ,
And I have seen people do it the long hard way ,they make the same amount of money

Study in UK, come to US, give send your credentials for evaluation then pass the Board exam. If you don't have such schools go to the Philippines.
How do you think Filipinos do it? They don't have 40k yet are Nurse a year upon arrival. Plenty of them nurses here. Google it.

@eMortal They certainly are. I helped 4 study for boards and 3 passed. 1 was married and had her mind on her husband and her baby she left in the Philippines...

Do what the suggestions are saying, and then come make a lot of money in the USA and a nurse.

You can make a good living. That's good because usually huge loans are involved. Or you could get a sugar daddy.

You study on student finance and you worry about the debt later, when you start earning you'll never even touch whatever you owe as it comes put automatically so you just have to make do with the salaray after tax and student loan removed. Lors of pwople cope so I wouldn't suggest worrying just find the course and apply. You'll cope others are and they dont all have the bank of mum n dad

Shoot I wouldn't have thought it would be so much in Britain, it's expensive in America as well
Memez · 31-35, F
@Dan509 Sorry, I meant 40k to study in America if you are British!
Dan509 · 26-30, M
@Memez ohhhhh yeah that makes sense, there are a lot of Americans who pay that in America

Student loans typically. You'd be paying them back for ages.
