@SW-User Well, they do call childbirth contractions "labor". 馃檮 English is full of phrases that don't really make sense, at first.

@SW-User And even in what part of the US or world, too. Example: "shag" has a vastly different meaning in the UK and many former British colonies compared to its meaning in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
