How would you go about making up job experience on your resume?

I graduated from college in 2016, and I can't find a job in my field. I'm losing my mind because I don't know what else to do about it. All the jobs in my field require experience I don't have. So the question is should I lie on my resume about job experience? If so, how would you make up job experience just to get hired?

Stupid thing to do - any sensible employer will check with whoever you claim to have gained experience with. Perhaps you need to consider a lower position to get your foot in the door and work your way up

Industries are small and people talk. Don't do it, unless you've already know someone there that can vouch for you

You can lie on a CV but dont do it too much. What would happen if you got the job and they discovered you couldn't do it 👍

What's your field of study?

@Razoreye001 seems like a good field.

If youre good at it then sure why not.. people lie about worse things... however it's still wrong.

I am fortunate to be able to work with my father as a carpenter. It isnt strictly within my workfield but it's at least in the same category.
