I finally took my team from the most bottom performing to the top performing team in Cape Town and the 2nd highest between Cape Town and Johannesburg
When I became a team manager 6 months ago I was assigned the worst performing team.
Bad attitudes, high absenteeism, high error rates, tardiness, no team spirit, no motivation towards self development... Only one person in the team was a top performer.
After analysing some stats and experimenting and having some deep individual coaching sessions, I took the team from underdog to top dog!
Our department is split between two sites... Cape Town and Johannesburg with 15 teams across the sites in total.
Yesterday's report confirmed we are now the top team in Cape Town and the 2nd highest across both CT and JHB sites!
Now other team managers are calling me up asking for tips hahahaha.
