Word/Thought which comes to mind when you hear the word "qualified accountant"?

@AN1991 Taxes are the only thing I would need an accountant for, but I do my own taxes.

@AN1991 Yep, gonna be buying a house this year.

@SooperSarah Out of own funds or out of mortgage?

@AN1991 I'm putting my 20% down and borrowing the rest.

@SooperSarah What's the interest you'd be paying?

@AN1991 I'm not that far in the process yet. My credit score will get me the best available though.

@SooperSarah You'd have to think about 2 things here, percentage of interest, tenure of loan. This will impact your free cash flows.

@SooperSarah Also, is it worth paying the chunk of the mortgage midway? That way, you'll save alot of money on interest payments.
