Would you tell a coworker , whom you MUST sit by for 8 hours that they are condescending sometimes?

Said person has been on vacation for a week and I've really enjoyed work without her. I'm dreading having to return and see her.

Some things she says are so snappy and condescending. She corrects everything you say, re-answers questions directly at you, usually reiterating what you just said.

Loves to explain things in a long drawn out way, when it was a simple yes or no

Those are the worst. 😖

I'm not sure she would take it well or do anything to improve. Does she do this with everyone or just you?

@Peaceful totally agree, which is why i havent done it yet. Ive heard her say snarky stuff to others

@iamnikki if she does it to everyone, you won't change her. If it's personal, perhaps you could go to HR and request to be moved?

@Peaceful she does this to certain people though. I've seen her kiss ass as well

@iamnikki ah, a manipulator to boot. See if you can get away from her so your work time is more pleasant.

@Peaceful right but she is the workplace know it all. She knows more than the supervisor. Thats the only reason i haven't said anything. Might need her help. And even if i ask the supervisor, she'll say " see if sara knows" i know she knows but i dont like her

@iamnikki just ask to be seated somewhere else. And find someone else to ask for help if need be. Asking her only fuels her shitty ways.

I'd rather figure it out on my own than ever go to the person you're describing for help.

@Peaceful she's the go to. She's been there the longest. Supervisors been there 3 months. Workflow is always changing. Every one always has questions and the supervisor simply does not know. If the supervisor was knowledgeable, i would have cut this chick off long ago

@iamnikki then you're either stuck dealing with her or you're looking for another job. 🤷‍♀️

@Peaceful I've been looking. Aside from her, the job itself is crappy
