What is better, Job or Self-employed?

@Lanyx You are so confident on your analysis of yourself. Cool! I wish I was that confident too.

I had a chance to be self-employed in the past. I goofed off, effectively blowing it. Now, I'm without formal employment also. I just don't have the entrepreneurial drive or spirit to start a small business. I'm an engineer: my passion to convert an idea into a product so that someone else can sell it.

@Lanyx Did it ever happen to you that you think about it so much, i can do this and that and all sorts of plans.. and when it's time to execute it, you step back. Ever?

There is a joke with my personality type (INTJ): Either obsessed or not interested at all. That rings true for me.
I do think a lot about technical stuff. Once I got a rough plan, I execute it.
There must be an element of technical interest that drives me.
