that was my job and my last upgrade puked big time, 20 + hours straight. Only to back out the upgrade and try again later. Not my fault, the development team blew it. It affected several systems.

Are you upgrading from AOL 2.7 to 3.0? That took a good six or eight hours, and for what? A different color scheme and what felt like a handful of new features.
