I applied for a job at a staffing agency, and they said they'd let me know by email--is that (already) a bad sign?

Ya, ya... at my age, I'm def. from the old school...face to face or at least phone! He says he'll let me know when he hears from the boss of the trucking company--*by email.* The job was posted several weeks ago... and trucking is still a man's world...any advice?

A lot of jobs honestly nowadays are contacting you by emails. Past couple of jobs in the healthcare informed me by email first then phone. I would just call if it's been a while since you heard back and check the status of your application. If it's something you want dont give up. Keep applying and trying and something will come along. Good luck!!!

No, it hasn't been a while...I applied on Friday, very early....and went back about 3 today... from what he said, I'd really love this!
