I sort of set myself up for it, although my boss didn't argue with me. I was promoted to corporate trainer (the only one) and we were opening a new supermarket about every five weeks. First week was reviewing apps, interviewing & hiring. 2nd & 3rd weeks - three cashier classes M-F, 8-12, 12:30-4:30 and 5-9. Some of the stores were far enough I stayed in motels all week - most involved at least two hours' driving as well. Fourth week setting up office & training office personnel and fifth grand opening, essentially 8 am to 11 pm for a week (salaried, of course). Even at 28, three years of that did me in.
