Get ready to work harder than anyone else you know. Prepare to do every job at the drop of the hat and still do all the paperwork and more. It’s worth every bit of effort. Best of luck! 👍

My best friend says, I hope you are good at resolving conflict because as partners— even if you weren’t dating—it’s like a marriage regardless of the gender. You will love- hate -blame -celebrate... and statistics say 8/10 start ups fail...-and those who succeed won’t succeed for the first several years so hopefully you have great financial backing too.good luck and may your passion live beyond and and be among those who beat statistics!

@Mindful We found (not a spouse) it was helpful to identify areas of expertise and draw those lines fairly clear - it doesn't eliminate disagreement but it helps.

Yes, I was a partner for quite a while. You learn a lot. Like, don't fall prey to jazzy expensive stationery, business cards (although for a lot of businesses that IS important), way cool office machinery that you don't yet need but makes you feel like a real grownup business. Swimming with sharks.
