Work problems

So I work as the general manager of a major hotel on my area. It’s a part of a major chain of hotels. I was told today that I might have the opportunity to be transferred to a different hotel for more money, but would cause me to leave my hometown and move across the country.

Not sure what to do. Have until the first of the year to decide

How about cost of living in that state, good school for your child? You may make more money but may spend more too just to maintain a similar life style and work conditions?

@Lindaisfun Is Net or delta between the two worth moving? If there is subtantial value not just monitory alone (i.e a Better life style, great school, good compnay, future advancement and an adventure) worth the trouble than take it.

That’s what I’m thinking about. It’s a significant raise though and I would have a housing allowance.
