Work problems

So I work as the general manager of a major hotel on my area. It’s a part of a major chain of hotels. I was told today that I might have the opportunity to be transferred to a different hotel for more money, but would cause me to leave my hometown and move across the country.

Not sure what to do. Have until the first of the year to decide

Don't forget to look into what everything will cost in the new area, and you need to think about crime and schools. In the end you could be making the same or less if you have to pay more for housing or private school if they are bad in the area

I've heard that it has happened to other people before. And with that big of a pay increase coming with the new job there will either be lots of new costs or you might just be under paid now for what you do where you are at
