Work problems

So I work as the general manager of a major hotel on my area. It’s a part of a major chain of hotels. I was told today that I might have the opportunity to be transferred to a different hotel for more money, but would cause me to leave my hometown and move across the country.

Not sure what to do. Have until the first of the year to decide

That’s a major life decision and change, if you take it. If you’re a praying woman, I’d definitely pray about it. Either way, weigh the pros and cons. List them on a paper. Find out all that job would entail, including housing or apartment costs, food, transportation, if the area is more economical and all... you never know, then narrow it down. I sure wish you the best. It sounds like a great opportunity to further yourself and your career.

@LadyGrace thank you. I’ll definitely be praying about it
Yes. You’re welcome. Find out if the rent would be sky high. @Lindaisfun

@LadyGrace I would actually have a housing allowance
Oh wow, what an opportunity at your age!! That sounds like a great window of opportunity. @Lindaisfun
@Lindaisfun Sounds like God has given you this opportunity, but still check everything out. Even the crime rate in the area.

Yeah. It’s a great opportunity. So basically what they told me was that I can stay in a suite at the hotel for up to 3 months for free. Then I would be covered for 50% of my rent as long as it was in the same city that the hotel is located.

@LadyGrace the negatives are that I would be leaving the state I’ve lived in my whole life, leaving my friends and family, and starting all over. Kind of scary
