Why do employers make you send a resume, when they will also make you fill out an online application?

You stress out over making your resume perfect, but then for every job you’re really interested in, you have to do an online application anyway. (Don’t get me started on those goddamn online applications.) It seems like a lot of wasted effort.

I hear you, but we do require online applications to comply with non discrimination rules. Your resume, letter and interview are more important.
