Why do new bosses always want to fix things that arent broken?

Forget about new bosses. Why do so many bosses or managers care so much about money and not about people? They know there are problems, yet don't care to make improvements. And they have no idea what real work is, many of them. Bastards and incompetents...

@PoetryNEmotion selfishness and greed, they were getting fat bonuses and catered lunches & breakfasts where i worked the last few years before retiring and telling us there was no money in the budget for raises...they got fat bonuses those years too.

Because they have to leave their “mark” somehow or other....I’ve seen it and hate it. Kind of like U.S. Presidents tend to.

Trying to impress their boss. Went through a lot of new managers the last 8 years before I retired and they did this so much. Some of those managers only lasted a year, and they had run off the older one who knew what was going on.
