Based only on that comparison, I would say the American because he contributes something in return for the automobile and once he has achieved his goal (although, while I don't know about Arabs, very very few Americans buy Rolls Royces) he will treasure the car for its own value and for the price he paid in hard work.

@Pianist1234 It's not a big problem. Rolls sold 1000 cars in the US in 2015, which means about 1 in 321,000 Americans buy a Rolls.
@Pianist1234 Well, if your measure of the value of a life is how many dollars or dinar are involved, then very rich people have more value, which I don't believe for a moment.

@Pianist1234 Some do. Americans are leasing cars more and more instead of buying them, which I'm old enough to think is not exactly wise.

And cars are more important here than many places because the distances are so great and mass transit is not as widespread as in many other countries. Americans do love their cars.
