What is a polite way of telling someone that listing their title is useless information during a computer tech support call?

It's just quicker to let them list it so you can move on forward with your problem.

Dependings on hierarchy of their companies computer set up. I used to work at a place and it made it easier to navigate my system to fix the issue, as in VP of marketing will have different privileges and access than VP of operations

i just tell folks.. 'only relevant info. things will move faster w/the least amount of filler details.'
