Doing something you love.. sounds good to me
EugenieLaBorgia · F
I began playing the piano at a very early age because I adored it. Perhaps, now, I do not consider it as a job but it has given me the opportunity to introduce many young aspiring minds to pursue their musical passions and has led me into the company of some fine orchestras, composers and conductors. So...yes!!

If you can make money at it
Capo2 · 56-60, M
I started investing in real estate as a hobby and my houses now make more than my day job. If you find something that you love that is profitable, it can turn into a career. Not always, but it worked for me.
In some cases yes. It's doing what you love for profit.. If you can actually manage to make a sustainable income from doing something you enjoy then it's a happy win win imo

Its a mixed bag, depends on the person. But loving your job because it makes a stack of cash doesn't make it a hobby.

@SW-User a hobby is a pursuit you follow purely for the joy, the emotional return, most often at a financial loss, if you can make cash from it to the point it sustains you that's great.

If you can work doing something you love, sure, that has to be a great idea.

I think it's a bad idea.
