Would you be leary of applying to a job whose HR doesn't even seem competent?

I applied for a job via indeed. Got a message from them saying to apply on their website. I do this and had to re-do it since it didn't progress to the next step. I reached out to HR to let them know I've applied, they said they received the app and that I'd get an email saying I got an interview or if someone else did. This was last week.

This morning I get an email saying : thank you for your interest and applying on indeed, to complete the application, review our jobs on [company website] and apply using the job code.

I did this twice already.

Is this why they seemingly have a high turnover rate?🤔

Should I just ask for an interview while I have them on the phone??

You should ask for an interview. Maybe you won't like the company but never pass up an opportunity to hone your interview skills. With enough interviews, it becomes easier to relax during them and to know what the right things are to say. Practice makes perfect. If this isn't the right job for you, the next one might be.

@SW-User I called and left a message. I hate I couldn't greet the person by name on the message because I couldn't understand the name😕.
