Would you be leary of applying to a job whose HR doesn't even seem competent?

I applied for a job via indeed. Got a message from them saying to apply on their website. I do this and had to re-do it since it didn't progress to the next step. I reached out to HR to let them know I've applied, they said they received the app and that I'd get an email saying I got an interview or if someone else did. This was last week.

This morning I get an email saying : thank you for your interest and applying on indeed, to complete the application, review our jobs on [company website] and apply using the job code.

I did this twice already.

Is this why they seemingly have a high turnover rate?馃

Should I just ask for an interview while I have them on the phone??

I have never met a competent HR department, although that seems extra awful.

@CountScrofula think I should ask for interview. it said to call if you had questions.

@iamnikki Yeah, their process for taking in applications seems broken so push at it.

@CountScrofula what should I say though? I applied, got confirmation, but am being asked to apply by a different person who left her number, but it may be HR's number...

They aren't the ones who set up interviews though right?

@iamnikki They often are. Just call and ask for a status on your application because there was some confusion, and when you'd known if you're getting an I Teri.

@iamnikki Ahem interview.

@CountScrofula Thank you! that sounds good. I have to plan what I'm gonna say before I make calls,otherwise I just sound stupid

@iamnikki It's always a good idea, particularly when dealing with this stuff. Keep in mind they probably deal with messups in their hiring process all the time.
