Why is at you get older jobs like McDonald’s and fast food places are beneath some to even consider?

Fast food jobs imply that you are too stupid to do something better.
There is nothing wrong with the job - nothing wrong with working fast food. Until you're 40 and see your old school mate working at the window and you wonder what went wrong in their life. We tend to forget that it's just a job. Not who we are.

As you get older, you acquire work, and life experience, so you should not have to take those jobs, if you choose not too.
As for myself, the older I get, my tolerance for crap from people grows weaker. Lol
I would not deal well with customers with an attitude, or some snot nosed assistant manager.

I did what I had to do, worked at five guys burgers and fries after having sometimes made $90/hr doing contract work.

Truth is, you have to work from where you’re at up, can’t just magically get where you want to be.

Life is about upward motion.
For many, taking a minimum wage job is a step or more backwards.

Better than ALOT of jobs out there..and doesnt most McDonalds pay $15 an hour now

You gotta do what ya can to survive

Those jobs generally don't pay great, plus who wants to be 50 bossed around by a teenager! lol
