How personal are you in business email?

i dont know how much kind and polite i should be and how much formal i should be lol. where's the balance? how do you communicate when you write emails for work?

For me it depends on a few things... Have I talked with then before... Is it bad news or a demand...I think you can be friendly in a business email... Just be careful and don't assume what you think is funny they'll also think is funny
