Is it acceptable to ring in sick because you feel too exhausted to function?

You betcha. I do it a lot. I can because I have my own business and only work on nice days.

@acpguy Id work the nasty days and get out on the good ones.
Unless there were loads in a row. Then I'd hibernate.

@SW-User I love my work since I get to travel, it is easy, I make a load of money, make people happy most of the time and get to play while out traveling since I normally only work a few hours per day.
