How do I ensure I earn lots of money?

What are some ways of ensuring that I will earn enough money, or even more money than I need to live a comfortable life?

I know how to be happy, but I realise that without money, I can't do a lot of things. Also I need money to buy a new laptop because my current laptop is breaking apart.

Money isn't the ultimate answer to happiness, but it does make life so much easier. Don't you think we are underestimating the importance of money?
