What should I do career wise?

NOTE: I am asking this question again because I got some trolls on the last post, and I really could use some advice.

So, I quit my job because it has just been way too stressful. Problem is, I am almost 20 with little work experience, no specific major, and all my interests are way hard to find a career in. (Theatre.) My family is very supportive and wants me to follow my dreams, but my friends think I should focus on getting work experience and picking a major just to be sure I'll have a future. I know I'll need a set career eventually, but I really do not want to be stuck with a career that I hate. The only thing I am one-hundred percent sure of at the moment is that I need a break over the holidays to sort some things out. But, I need some serious advice: What should I do?

Is there any money in Theater? Is there a career path? Sometimes you need to have a money path, and an interest path and find a way to combine the two. The world revolves around money. Take a break, make it short, then look for the money path, once you have that sorted, get back into Theater, unless you think there is a future in Theater.

@UreBesFrend That's the thing, there IS money, but it is EXTREMELY difficult to find work. 98% of actors and actresses are unemployed. People always tell me that there are plenty of other options theatre wise, but I'm picky, and have always loved to be on stage.

@marilynmichelle Possible to join a movie club? Make some films for free. If you want to use that as your money path, you need your image shown to the right people, and movies will do that way faster than theater, plus you can use them as part of your resume.

@marilynmichelle Craigslist has a Talent area. There are lots of openings for porn girls/guys, but some movie stuff too, just have to be careful and ask a lot of questions, never go solo to these things, use your head. @marilynmichelle Actually the porn thing was more of a warning, the link I posted is for a short film, it says nothing about porn, but it may be that too, no idea.
