Are you hard to please?

@Sudsy too many expectations?

If Im being honest with myself, then yes. Not in a pretentious way, I don't expect to be served/praised/etc. But I do have high expectations of things like how a person treats themselves and the people around them.

@Sudsy that's understandably but most ppl don't have that level of self control or awareness of themselves

@JovialPlutonian I understand, that's why I think things over before I get pissy or upset. But I'd be lying if I said it never rubbed me the wrong way

@Sudsy I imagine you're quite idealistic then lol but I think that is very good

@JovialPlutonian I'll just say that I do have legitimate reasons to be, but I won't get into it. Mind though, there is a difference (to me) than being personally disappointed, vs turning that into putting someone down because I'm disappointed. I would never do that

@Sudsy you don't seem that way inclined anyway. I only end up hurting ppl in that sense out of reacting but not intentionally

@JovialPlutonian I used to be so bad at that. Would be an asshole just because I got mad. But I realized that it brings nothing but negative bullshit, so I learned to quit. Wasn't easy or overnight, but I did it. Makes for an easier life

@Sudsy yeh I am just emotionally sensitive but I do find my reactions have a lasting positive effect on others I don't hide my feelings and a lot of ppl can really appreciate the emotional honesty

Which can be very transformative

@JovialPlutonian We all need that in our lives though, I have a friend who has the same mannerisms as you, and its nice to have their input in things

@Sudsy and so do you if I'm honest. It's hard to find ppl you can relate to, especially when you're rather particular

@JovialPlutonian I appreciate that, I'd like to think that I'm at least easy to talk to. I try to remain open minded and not bs people
