He never called me in because they didn't have any arrivals. Tried making it seem like he fired me in front of guests.

Tell him you will report him to the Social Security Administration and the IRS if he refuses to give you a W-2 what kind of job was it the biggest determiner on contract labor and this is the actual definition more or less if he had specific hours that you were to be there working using his equipment then you are not a contract labor a contract labor uses their own equipment and sets their own hours
it was a hotel front desk. i was hired for full time front desk clerk and he wouldnt let me come to work unless they had arrivals.

Also you can collect unemployment for wrongful discharge

Doesn't matter he made working conditions unbearable he would cut your hr at last moment and was not giving you the hrs promised
