I’m in my office today for a board meeting
There are changes a foot because we have two group board members here as well, and they do have sour looks on their faces. I guess we have some difficult choices here for some.
Complacency is the ruin of competition and we are all guilty of it I suppose, and I think that some of the board expect too much of the magazine. I myself was on sick leave for three months and that might seem a problem but I cannot be sacked or my role changed under the law, but I do worry about some of my colleagues who have been very blasé about their leadership roles - two of the board have been missing most of the year working in their directorial positions at other companies….
I walked in and I think I am likely to stay all day even though with it being holiday season there is only a skeleton crew here anyway.
