The Rewards of Hard Labor
There is this project in the north of India. A construction project. We started in April24 and completed it today almost 2 years later.
Team did good. We all bent our backs. Burnt the midnight oil. And ran the extra mile.
While the client top guns celebrated with political bigwigs, my team watched from the wings, prevented by security men from getting close to what they created over last 2 years, slogging day and night.
Life can be tough. Lessons have to be relearned. Nothing new here. Has happened before too. But we always wish this time would be different, dont we?
