I work for a medical supply company making about 19.5/hr. The good news is that I get paid leave and I'm basically my own boss, but my position is only part-time and I don't get benefits even though my offer letter stated otherwise. With heath care costs going back up I'm not really sure what I would do without the job even though they don't provide heath care.

Apply to UPS. Part time starts around 21 per hr. Early am. 100% benefits after 500 hrs. Most people do the job for insurance benefits alone. Leaves most of your day free for any other opportunities you may want to pursue.

@MayRey My younger cousin worked for UPS years ago, they run you ragged, the turnover rate is very high.
