I work for a medical supply company making about 19.5/hr. The good news is that I get paid leave and I'm basically my own boss, but my position is only part-time and I don't get benefits even though my offer letter stated otherwise. With heath care costs going back up I'm not really sure what I would do without the job even though they don't provide heath care.

Unless you have a new job to go to .. not a good thing to quit a paying job. Certainly understand the need for full-time and hopefully benefits, but better to be employed while looking.
