Hello friends

I've been applying to jobs on Indeed and company websites. I've applied to so many that I've lost count. But today I got a call from a specific place. They're called "Asset group." It was an Indian woman calling me from a number in New York. Idk it seems like a scam to me. I don't recall applying here they are already sending me onboarding documents.
. What do y'all think?

I just ran that company thru AI. Based in London, but have been listed with the licensing authorities over there as dormant since 2022 and not doing business. I would stay away.

@Trav2024 Thanks for looking that up. I appreciate it.

Their HQ is in the U.K, per an open source search so I don't know why you'd be getting calls from NY. Seems like a scam though. Why send you docs when you've never spoken to them about employment. Could well be some shysters impersonating them having gotten your info from some other company you've applied to.

There are a lot of scammers on those sites. Do your research on them before contacting them. Many scammers use names of real companies but when you go to the real company website and either contact someone or look at their current job openings that job in your email isnt there.. so scammer.
