Does your boss expect you to be a mind reader too?

She's a terrible trainer, I had to learn everything on my own without any guidance. I am resourceful enough to do this, but she still just expects me to know what she's doing or thinking with no explanation and then gets pissy when I ask follow up questions. I try to go outside her whenever possible, but some things can only come from her. I am not the only one who has this problem with her, but her and I don't seem to mix well personality wise.

I basically learned how to change tires by myself because the only other guy at the shop, well, he's a great guy but he does expect a lot. Sometimes I could watch him and learn from that but when I was on my own, I was on my own.

And when I say change tires I mean actually taking the rubber tire off the metal rim and putting a new one on with a tire mounting machine (which btw hardly worked lol).

I changed tires for about a year before I even knew what a drop center was, which is pretty important. 😆

Is there any way you can do what I did and just watch your boss occasionally to learn from them? Or maybe it's not quite the same circumstance for you?

@SinlessOnslaught Unfortunately no I can't watch her, we are all kind of like islands and she would have to want me to watch her and that isn't going to happen. I do have a colleague here who has been a great help when I can't get what I need out of my boss. I am grateful for that at least.
