Product recalls - reasons
When a product goes wrong in manufacturing the idea is to remove and dispose of it (esp food / beauty products)!
Every month you will find plenty of products being recalled for one reason or another. So, why? My opinions, workers in production are overworked so they get tired and lapses occur. Operators know something but let a bad product(s) slip through as they "feel pressured" to hit targets.
Qualty checks - people in other department who are barely where they should be and THAT'S on the work floor (meaning where production is taking place) they should be inspecting products as well as the machines, taking health n safety into account. However, they abuse the system by "looking busy" in the office so they can sit n chill on their phones. The quality inspection is left to the target hitting, sweat working operators.
YES these manufacturing have a process of standards however, these people are only shown packages / do tests of the best products which is 10 at random outta 100. Other 90 is where all the recalls are.
