Education Degree level subtle discrimination in the workplace
At my workplace, I noticed that people with (a) Master's degree(s) and Ph. D's get preferential treatment over people with Bachelor's degrees, who are treated like dumb cattle regardless of university quality.
An infuriating example of this is freshly graduated Master's pimplefaces with zero life experience and zero work experience, yet immediately get the best projects and chances, whereas people with a Bachelor's are seen as helpless goats who don't even know how to do a presentation, which is grossly wrong.
Not only do I complain about it, but I see others noticing this as well. Why do pimple-faced rich kids get more chances than people who worked for years in different sectors?
I find this sort of discrimination grossly unfair because I come from a reputable university for which I fought hard for to get a Bachelor's degree that is pretty much equivalent to a Master's one given the level of real-life industry preparation it gives you.
The cause for this treatment? Ignorance, friendship politics and bad management.
