I can't believe what just happened
My boss took me to meet with this other guy in our department, and they told me all the plans they had for me regarding this new position. They both said I could do the job however I wanted. My boss then said I needed my own office...a new desk....and then told the guy I needed a new laptop and asked me which brand I preferred...
My boss put his legs up on the table and then said and then you get a company car.
He then told me that my coworkers might be wondering why I got the job, and he said that "opportunities come a long, and you just happen to be here" and smiled at me.
We walked out and I was smiling and he just looked at me and we were both happy 🤣 he's been campaigning for me to get this job for a while
Exciting things like this never happen to me
