Christmas Bonus

Remember- your “Christmas Bonus” doesn’t come from the goodness of your employer - it is your employer’s effort to avoid the tax man.

Bah humbug (pun intended).

I always remember Xmas at the restaurant where I worked for 12 years. Christmas bonus was always $10. We were closed from approximately December 24 to January 2. However there was no pay for that week. One year the owner gave me a big pot of minestrone soup that was already old. That was all I had to eat for a week.

I think they still have to pay tax on the bonus, at least here in Canadataxedtodeath

If more customers paid in cash their bonuses would've been bigger

@MarineBob cc fees, like taxes, are passed on to the consumer.
