Have you ever worked for a place where you get to "choose" your supervisor and manager?

Based on ranking, we get to choose our new supervisor and manager every year. My job calls it realignment. I made a terrible decision. I wish I could go back in time just a few weeks or so.

Not only does my manager love to fire people without any warning (and no one will tell me the reasons for firing the employees), but I now work with a new area in the USA. I want my old area back so bad, my old team and my old manager.

It's really bad. I don't think I'll even make a bonus in this new "community".

I'm truly depressed over it for so many reasons that I'm not even going to get into... It's bad on so many levels. 😪

@wildbill83 Good for you for leaving. That's what I truly feel like I need to do.

@perceptivei no amount of pay & benefits is worth having to deal with a stuck up narcissist every day. Actually got a call from corporate a year or so later offering a consulting job (they were still in the midst of lockheed & martin merge); I got along with upper management just fine (perhaps too fine, as it put me at odds with the plant management from the start); but the job required too much travel & relocation for my interests
